What Does It Mean and Where Did It Come From?

BWFJ is based on the scripture I Peter 2:9 which states..."But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a PECULIAR people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light;"
BWFJ.com began as a tiny, whiny idea (as my 8-year-old daughter, Morgan, would describe it) about seven years ago, and was officially trademarked on 03-04-03. My husband, Jerry, and I had worked with Teens for over 13 years. When we would challenge them to stand up for Jesus, they would say that people made them feel "weird". It wasn't until 09-28-01 that BWFJ became a reality. It all started with some letters typed on paper, that my 14 year old daughter, Amanda helped me pick which font and what colors.
When God says we are chosen what that means is-every day matters and every person matters. Many times we are placed in circumstances far different than what we might have chosen or imagined for ourselves. Be ready! This could be your chance to change the future of the universe. You may be where you are for such a time as this!
